$15,000 Breeders' Cup Big Bet Battle Royale - How to Play

Final Round - The Battle Royale (October 3 - 4)

• Only Players who have qualified in one of the two Qualifying Rounds may participate in the the Final Round of the contest, the Battle Royale, on the weekend of October 3-4.
   
• Qualified players may participate in the Final Round by placing a $15 Win/Place (combination) wager on a single horse (or coupled entry) on the 10 designated contest races on October 3-4.
   
• Only a player’s first wager for $15 to Win/Place on a single horse in a designated contest race will qualify as his or her official contest wager.

• Multi-horse wagers or wagers placed separately to Win and Place are not eligible for contest play.

• There will be eight contest races on October 3 and two on October 4. Check the Race Schedule for Official Contest races.

• To qualify to win a prize, players must place a designated contest wager ($15 Win/Place) on at least five (5) of the 10 contest races. However, all qualifying wagers placed on the 10 contest races will count toward a player’s final score in the contest.

• There is no cap on winnings and players may keep all winnings from any contest wagers placed.

• Scratches must be re-bet.

How To Win

• At the end of the Final Round, players will be ranked by total gross winnings accumulated from all qualifying contest wagers in the Final Round only, October 3 - 4.
• The amount bet is not deducted from total winnings to tabulate the final score.
• The top 20 finishers shall be eligible to win a prize.
• Contest wagers placed in the Qualifying Rounds do not count toward a player's score in the Final Round.
• In the event of the cancellation of any contest race, the contest will continue on all remaining races.
• In the event fewer than 6 contest races are declared official, the contest will be rescheduled at a date to be determined.

Prizes

Grand Prize - The official winner of the Battle Royale shall win the following prizes:

• A VIP trip for two to the 2015 Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland. Trip includes hotel accommodations for three nights and premium seating for two to the Breeders’ Cup on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31 at Keeneland.
• A $1,000 credit toward travel to be deposited to the winner’s TwinSpires account.
• A $10,000 wager on the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
• A framed Kentucky Derby photo of American Pharoah, autographed by Bob Baffert, with a genuine $2 Belmont Win ticket on American Pharoah.

2^nd Place Prize:

• A $1,000 credit to be deposited to the winner’s TwinSpires account.
• A framed Kentucky Derby photo of American Pharoah, autographed by Bob Baffert, with a genuine $2 Belmont Win ticket on American Pharoah.

3^rd – 5^th Place Prizes:

• A $500 credit to be deposited to the winner’s TwinSpires account.
• A framed Kentucky Derby photo of American Pharoah, autographed by Bob Baffert, with a genuine $2 Belmont Win ticket on American Pharoah.

6^th – 10^th Place Prizes:

• A $300 credit to be deposited to the winner’s TwinSpires account.
• A framed Kentucky Derby photo of American Pharoah, autographed by Bob Baffert, with a genuine $2 Belmont Win ticket on American Pharoah.

11^th – 20^th Place Prizes:

• Framed Kentucky Derby photo of American Pharoah, autographed by Bob Baffert, with a genuine $2 Belmont Win ticket on American Pharoah.

Tiebreaker rules

• In the event more than one player finishes in a tie for any prize, the following tiebreakers will be used to break the tie, in the following order:
  • Most winning horses selected.
  • Most horses finishing second or better.
  • Highest Win mutuel payout among all winning bets.
  • Highest Place payout among all winning bets.
  • Most horses finishing third or better.
• In the event a tie still remains, TwinSpires may choose an alternate method to break the tie.
