TwinSpires.com VIP Betting Challenge Official Rules

Eligibility

This contest is open to all TwinSpires.com account holders in good standing with a TSC Elite VIP status of Bronze or above as of July 20, 2013. TwinSpires.com account holders may achieve VIP Bronze status by wagering $25,000 in a calendar year or $12,000 in one of the first three quarters of the calendar year.

How to Play

Any eligible player may enter the contest by placing a wager for exactly $25 to Win with his or her TwinSpires.com account on at least five races combined from Del Mar and/or Saratoga (a minimum of $125 in total wagers).

Eligible players who place a $25 Win wager on at least five (5) races combined from Del Mar and/or Saratoga will be considered “contest players.”

Contest players may compete for prizes by recording the highest Return on Investment (ROI) from all $25 Win wagers placed on Del Mar and/or Saratoga on Saturday, July 20.

Contest Scoring

Once a player has placed the required $25 Win bets on at least five races combined from Del Mar and Saratoga, ALL of his or her $25 Win wagers placed on Del Mar and Saratoga on Saturday, July 20 will be considered entered in the contest.

At the end of the day, all contests players will be ranked by their ROI on their combined $25 Win wagers on races from Del Mar and Saratoga.

ROI is calculated by subtracting the total amount bet in contest wagers from winnings returned from contest wagers and dividing that sum by the total amount bet in contest wagers.

Each Player’s ROI is then expressed as a percentage. For example, if a player bets $200 and wins $400 from those wagers, his or her ROI is 100%. $400 in winnings less $200 wagered equals $200, divided by $200 = 1 or 100%.

Prizes

The top three finishers will earn the following prize:

Il Palio Seating for Del Mar for the Winner and a Guest, including food and beverages on August 24, 2013
$800 in spending money

Winner is responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from Del Mar and accommodations in the San Diego area.
