Blues vs. Red Wings: The best player prop bets for Nov. 24
Little Caesars Arena is the site for a Thanksgiving eve matchup between the St. Louis Blues and the Detroit Red Wings.
The Blues are a modest 2-4-1 in their last seven contests, but are fresh off a 5-2 triumph over the Vegas Golden Knights. The Red Wings are looking to snap a four-game losing streak as they return home, where they are 5-3-2 this year.

Let’s take a look at our top three player prop bets for the first of two matchups between these Western Conference rivals this season.
St. Louis Blues (10-6-2) at Detroit Red Wings (8-9-3), 7:30 p.m. ET
Vladimir Tarasenko to score at least one point
Vladimir Tarasenko seems due for a breakthrough of some kind based on the way he’s played this month. Perhaps Detroit will offer him that opportunity on Wednesday night.
Tarasenko scored in three straight games between Nov. 11 and Nov. 14, but has now been held without a goal on his last 19 shots. That’s quite an unusual scoring drought for the St. Louis sniper. He actually took just one shot in Monday’s victory over Vegas, instead using himself as a decoy to set up two assists.

Don’t be surprised if Tarasenko finds his way onto the scoresheet via the power play in this one. The Red Wings are the ninth-most penalized team in hockey, and Tarasenko is the Blues’ co-leader in power play points this season (five, tied with David Perron).
NHL pick: Yes (-134)
Jordan Kyrou goal scorer
Jordan Kyrou is tied for the Blues’ team lead in goals with Brandon Saad (eight apiece), yet is listed at the fourth-lowest odds among his teammates to score a goal in this one. Kyrou certainly seems like a good value bet to score a goal based on that fact alone.
That smile.

Jordan Kyrou extends his point streak to six games, and it's 4-1 Blues.

The 23-year-old centerman has found the back of the net at least once in five of his last eight games, and is shooting 17% for the season – a high number, but not unsustainable. He’ll take on a Detroit defense that allows 3.35 goals per game, 27th in the NHL.
NHL pick: Kyrou anytime goal (+220)
Tyler Bertuzzi to score at least one point
Tyler Bertuzzi tends to do his scoring in bunches, and then go quiet for multiple games at a time. Bettors should expect his mini-drought to continue in this spot.
Bertuzzi has 17 points through 17 games, but has found the scoresheet in only eight of those contests. He has no goals and just two assists over his last seven starts, taking a modest 13 shots on goal in that span.
Ville Husso is expected to get the nod in net for St. Louis, and he’s turned back 60 of the first 61 shots he’s faced this year. Whether it’s Husso or Jordan Binnington between the pipes, bettors can have faith in the Blues’ goal-stopping abilities, as they’ve allowed the ninth-fewest enemy tallies per game this season (2.67).
