‘All Others’ bet down as favorites in Pool 1 of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager

The first of four Kentucky Derby Future Wager (KDFW) pools closed on Sunday at 6 p.m. (ET), and the “All Other 3-Year-Old Colts & Geldings” (#24) as well as the “All Other Sires” (#24) options each garnered favoritism from the betting public.
The “All Other 3-Year-Old Colts & Geldings,” a subdivision of the “All Other 3-Year-Olds” wagering interest from past pools, closed at 6-5 after opening as the 7-5 morning-line favorite. The “All Other 3-Year-Olds” selection was separated into colts and geldings and the “All 3-Year-Old Fillies” (#23) option this year. The fillies pick closed at 66-1 after opening at 30-1.
Game Winner (#6) was the favorite among the individual betting picks, bet down to 5-1 after opening at 8-1 on the morning line.
The Kentucky Derby Sire Future Wager saw the “All Other Sires” choice close at 9-2 odds. It was installed as the 5-1 morning-line favorite.
Tapit (#17) was the lowest individual betting interest, attracting odds of 6-1 after opening at 10-1. Next came Candy Ride (#3) and Into Mischief (#8), each closing at 7-1 following morning-line odds of 6-1.
