Apple Pay has arrived at TwinSpires!

August 24th, 2021

Apple Pay®, the popular and easy-to-use depositing method for iOS-based devices, is galloping in to deliver a new funding process for your horse racing wagering experience.

Apple Pay allows users to replace physical cards and cash with a private and more secure method of depositing payments. Apple Pay takes advantage of a horseplayer's card being pre-saved to their Apple Wallet, eliminating the need to upload card information to another site.

Plus, what a time saver! Players who like a speedy clock-in can already have Apple Pay enabled on their device to easily deposit without additional time spent entering their debit or credit card information.

An email is sent to players to confirm when a deposit is made.

The modern approach of Apple Pay is accepted at 85 percent of U.S. retailers, which is why so many have inquired if we could bring the convenience to the TwinSpires betting experience. We have!

Setup takes just seconds as you submit your credit or debit card to the mobile-friendly Wallet app. If you have an Apple® device (i.e. iPhone®, Apple Watch®, Mac or iPad®), Apple Pay is already built in.

Why is Apple Pay secure?

Personal data in Apple Pay operates with a number that is specific to devices and a code that is unique for transactions. When paying with a debit or credit card, Apple Pay doesn’t keep transaction information that can be tied back to you, and card numbers are never shared by Apple with merchants.
