Australia Racing Preview for 1/4/2014
Caulfield Races – (AUS A)
Racing at Caulfield for the first time in 2014 and were only taking a look at the two main ones today in the Kelly Turvey Hcp ($100,000 AUS) and the Harris Walker Vobis Gold Carat Handicap ($150,000) So let’s see if we can’t get some winners on the board and make a little extra cash.
Race 4 – Kelly Turvey Handicap
SPENDING came down slower outside race Flemington fresh, she finished alongside Brotherly Secret who won last week. MEANS A LOT won well here fresh last prep at 1000m, do think she is even better suited at 1200m fresh, gate 1? BEACH FRONT was brave beating Five All at MV, that girl ran very well Flemington NY Day. COUNTED (colder ride a help?) and YOU CAN DANCE are up to winning. SILK PINS goes in fresh and may be silly odds. LONHTIME shows promise. LADY OF HARRODS to 1200m/Own sex is a must. Forgive VALID CONTRACT's 1st-up miss, trialled well prior.

Race 5 – Harris Walker Vobis Gold Carat Handicap
Good race for $150k. WRITTEN UP looked like a star on debut then was backed heavy to win at Swan Hill but ran into May's Dream! Has come on? WILD FIRE won like a good horse at Yarra and ran time, in fact, some 6L faster than the promising Longhtime later in the day in BM64 class!! COLORS OF THE WIND came through fast race here (hot form race Lord Of The Sky won) then really found the line last week behind stablemate who goes well. TRUST IN A GUST is a must (sorry!) and KIEVANN looks promising.
