Australian racing picks for Taree and Wagga

June 4th, 2020

It’s certainly been a big week for racing, with a lot more venues back in business here in the U.S., and right around the world.

Down Under, they are gearing up for a big weekend of Grade 1 racing in Brisbane.

Hopefully we can build a bankroll tonight, with the four Aussie Thoroughbred venues available for BetAmerica horseplayers, including Taree, Wagga, Donald, and Toowoomba.

Here’s a couple of picks!

Taree, Race 1: #6 Ciao Uno

This filly is from the barn of multiple Group 1 winning trainer Kris Lees. She has made two starts, and has been well supported in both. She disappointed as the favorite in her most recent run at Coffs Harbour but stuck on reasonably well, and she’ll certainly be fitter for this race.

Ciao Uno will get a slightly firmer track tonight, and she’ll likely get a soft lead and be able to dictate. This race looks a little easier than her first couple starts, and those 6-1 morning-line odds look very appetizing.

Wagga, Race 2: #12 Signal Hill

This mare has raced six times and is still looking for her first win, but she has been knocking on the door. She ran into just one better in her last start at Albury and has been the bridesmaid on two other occasions.

Signal Hill is drawn perfectly tonight and will be fitter for two runs since a break. She really found her stride late over seven furlongs in her last start, so the step up to the mile tonight should suit her.

Good luck!
