TwinSpires Saturday Supper Tournament

Whether you have a good or bad day at Keeneland on Breeders Cup Saturday, Oct. 31, the wisest decision you make might be to try and get some trick or treating done in one or both of the TwinSpires after Breeders Cup Saturday Supper Tournaments. Hopefully, you're bankroll bag will be filled with nothing but treats after playing either or both tournaments on Saturday night. Racing action doesn't end after the Breeders Cup Classic.

Make sure to get your entries into both tournaments to either keep the good times rolling or to win back some of that BC money that you lost on the races at Lexington. Here are the big tournaments for Saturday:

$5,000 Saturday Supper Tournament

• Races from Charles Town & Delta Downs
• $22 Entry Fee; Limited to 250 entries

$1,000 High Roller Tournament

• Races from Charles Town & Delta Downs
• $109 Entry Fee; Limited to 10 entries

One thing to remember is that both tournaments are handcuffed style, meaning that once the first race starts in each tournament, you won't be able to make any changes. Let's pick some winners!

Charles Town

Race 4 - 4 1/2 furlongs Maiden Special Weight, Purse $25,000

1/1A - Donna Quixote, Karate Kate 4/1 - This coupled entry appears to have a big shot in this race. Karate Kate in particular comes from a 50% in the money trainer/jockey combo. The dam's foals win percentage is 18% while the sire's stud fee is the second highest in the field at $7,500.

Race 5 - 1 1/16 miles Claiming, Purse $10,500

9 - Marshall 4/1 - Marshall is the classiest horse in the race and goes into this after providing one of the highest last race speed ratings. The pace should ensure that Marshall has something to close in to. The jockey trainer/combo gets into the money at a sweet 67%.

Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs Allowance, Purse $26,000

4-Preseli's Pulpit 12/1 - Gets a weight break with 111 pound jockey A. Green aboard. Neither Green nor trainer K. McCarthy has a great in the money percentage. No matter. Preseli's Pulpit has a great shot of getting the lead and running for a win at a big price in this.

Race 7 - 7 furlongs Tri-State Futurity Stakes, Purse $50,000

3-Bullets Fever 3/1 - This two-year-old colt has won his first two races by a combined  8 1/2 lengths. Favorite Aye a Song breaks from post-position one meaning that jockey A. Bocachica can track that one from the outset. Might keep the morning line odds since Aye a Song is also undefeated and has impressed.

Race 8 - 4 1/2 furlongs Allowance, Purse $29,000

6 - Sharon Spaghetti 4/1 - It sure looks like there's going to be a pace duel up front in this 4 1/2 furlong sprint. Neither Talent N Passion nor Lucky Mary G. should shake the other off, meaning that Sharon Spaghetti will get the set-up that she needs in order to come running for the win.

Delta Downs

Race 6 - 1 1/16 miles Claiming, Purse $5,000

8 - Executive Call 6/1 - Has a 2-3-1 record out of 7 lifetime races. That's pretty good for this level. Has to be respected off of that alone. Jockey C. Rosier and trainer B. Calhoun are a dynamite combo. Those two guys have combined to get into the money 44% of the time.

Race 7 - 7 furlongs Claiming, Purse $10,000

5 - Rain Expectations 7/2 - Takes a big drop in class from the allowance ranks into this claiming race. The last time Rain Expectations ran in a claiming race, the horse won in a 6 furlong race by 4 1/2 lengths. Trainer D. Pish knows what he's doing. Can lead or stalk.

Race 8 - 7 1/2 furlongs Claiming, $20,000

2 - Burning Bridges 15/1 - This four-year-old trained by B. Bridges won its maiden in a 6 furlong race before finishing third by a neck in a $10,000 mile claimer over the turf in its second race. With jockey D. Meche, the trainer/jockey combo gets into the money 67% of the time. We have to find real separation somewhere. Why not with this 15/1 morning line shot?

Race 9 - 1 mile Gold Cup Stakes, $100,000

9 - Well's Gold 5/1 - This seven-year-old gelded son of Gold's Tribute is in excellent form. The switch from turf to dirt might help this one. The ability to stay close to the pace also makes this gelding a contender in here. Jockey C. Rosier takes the call.
