He does his best running when he shows speed and Nick Souquet returns in the irons – eight win in his last 50 rides. He draws well and picks up five pounds off his last start. #10 ORIENTAL LILY ran well in two consecutive starts over synthetic tracks going shorter. Two-year-old filly came back at Bendigo last out and over Heavy ground, she won going away at seven furlongs in a 14-runner maiden. She should relish the going for the Snowdens, who are winning 17 percent with their last 350 starters. The daughter of Hinchinbrook has taken money in all her pari-mutuel starts and gets Jye Mc Neil back aboard – 13 percent lately. #9 STRIPPING ROYALTY should have no trouble with the ground today. She returned first up off a seven-month layoff and rallied in a sprint from post 14 in a 14-runner field. She came back against this handicap level going a mile and just missed going gate to wire then lost a photo last out going a mile again. The three-year-old filly gets in with 126 pounds but Linda Meech will need to break well from post 12 to set up a stalking position. ROLAND GAROS has to tote high weight today but he suits the conditions.
