He came back and raced fifth in a rough trip when she drew the rail in a 14-runner field. Off for four months, she raced evenly in a barrier trial two weeks ago. What builds confidence is that she was heavily bet in her career debut and was only beaten a length and a half that day so she can run well fresh. Getting five pounds from the top weights, she draws in the middle of the pack with Josh Oliver – 8 for 50 – and at 15-1 morning line, she represents strong value in here. #1 ALL STARS ran well in two starts last year going six furlongs. In his first career start, he was dismissed at 51-1 and was a good second from post 12 on soft ground. Next out, at 9-5, he was an even fourth while racing wide in good time. This month, he returned off a six-month break with two barrier trials on soft turf when he ran well both times and should be fit for this. He has to tote high weight of 130 pounds but James Orman should be able to work out a stalking trip from post 10. He is by Black Caviar's half-brother All Too Hard and out of a multiple stakes winner. #8 TEN LARGE drops down in class after racing at the Gold Coast this year. After being dismissed at long odds in his first two starts this year, he went off at 8-1 last out and ran an improved race on soft turf. He has to overcome post 12 with Nathan Day in the irons but should be fit enough to do it with his regular racing schedule.
