Race 6
Trainer O’Dwyer wins with 11% of his first-time starters and saddles #5 Palatial Times (6-1), a debuting son of Palace Malic, who is a half-brother to nine winners. Works include a bullet 4-furlong move in :48 3/5 from the gate four days ago for O’Dwyer, who has won with 18% of his runners this year. Gelding appears ready for a good first outing under Adorno, who has won with one of his last three rides for the barn.
Race 7
#5 Fast Fionnuala (6-1) makes her turf debut off a weakening third-place finish over 6 furlongs on the main track earlier this month in her first start since early May. Filly should take to turf being by Verrazano and a half-sister to three winners on grass. Trainer Bennett wins with 20% of his runners making this surface change. Gray can be on or near the early lead with Coa in the saddle.

Fillies and mares going one mile include #4 My Queen Michelle (4-1), who comes off a well-beaten fourth-place finish over 6 furlongs at Laurel nine days ago in her second start after a five-month break. Daughter of Revolutionary won one of three previous starts at this distance and trainer Gonzalez wins with 20% third time off a layoff and with 27% going from a sprint to a route. Filly can be stalking a solid pace with Ocasio up.
Presque Isle

#5 Reign Showers (6-1) flattened out to finish third over the track and distance in her latest last month in her first start since her debut at Tampa in May. Daughter of Empire Maker is a half-sister to seven winners and posted a sharp 3-furlong work in :35 a week ago for trainer Hamm, who has won with 20% of his runners at this meet. 3-year-old can be along from just off the pace with Rodriguez retaining the mount.
