Dark bay has a record of 14-5-5-0 over 6 furlongs, and Demasi wins with 20% of her runners first off the claim. Daughter of Sky Mesa can be along from off what should be a solid pace with Hernandez retaining the mount.

Race 7

#6 Justin Time (7-2) has won one of four previous starts on this oval and makes her second start for trainer Velazquez off a second-place finish after being involved from the start at this distance at Delaware last month. Velazquez wins with 19% of his claimers and has won with 22% of his runners since the beginning of this year. Dark bay can be in the mix from the start with Salgado riding.

Indiana Grand

Race 7

Trainer Hammond has won with 22% of her runners at this meet and saddles #1 Southern Humor (8-1), who weakened after dueling for the early lead when fifth at this level over the track and distance in his latest last month. Gelding has won one of four starts on this oval, and Hammond wins with 23% of her runners in claiming events. Dark bay figures to be the one to catch under Bermudez, who has won with 31% of his rides for the barn in the past two months.

Zia Park

Race 4

Maidens going 5 1/2 furlongs include #3 The Kohen (5-1), who makes his first start for trainer Evans and who has not been seen since giving way to finish last of seven after showing some early run in his debut at Aqueduct in January. Son of Street Sense has been working well, and Evans wins with 17% of his runners that have not raced for 90+ days. Dark bay can be on or near the early lead under Negron, who has won with 30% of his rides for Evans in the past 60 days.
