Gulfstream Park
Race 8
Trainer Crichton wins with 17% of his runners that won last time out and saddles #2 Septemberten (6-1), who rallied from just off the pace to win his latest here last month. Gelding has a record of 14-2-3-5 on this oval and Crichton has won with 12% of his starters at this meet. Son of Gone Astray should find a solid pace to close into with Berrios remaining aboard.
Race 9
Maidens going one mile on grass include #8 Broadcast Legend (8-1), who may have needed his latest when fourth over 5 furlongs at this level last month in his first start since March. Trainer Roussel wins with 27% of his runners second time off a layoff, and son of Mizzen Mast is a half-brother to one winner on turf. Gray can be in good position throughout under Jaramillo, who has won with one of his last four rides for the barn.
Laurel Park
Race 4
#4 Ylikedis (9-2) made it two wins in a row when rallying from off the pace to win her latest here in early July. Daughter of Street Sense is a half-sister to Florida Oaks (G3) winner Andina Del Sur, and trainer Rubley wins with 23% of her runners that won last time out. Filly can be stalking the early pace with Pimental retaining the mount.
Golden Gate Fields
Race 6
Maidens on the Tapeta surface include #3 Crookhaven Lass (8-1), who makes her debut for trainer Bellasis. Filly has a good win-early pedigree being by 15% first-out sire Clubhouse Ride and out of a mare by More Than Ready, whose offspring win 12% of their first outings. Bellasis won with two of his last 10 newcomers, and chestnut appears ready for a good first outing.
Prairie Meadows
Race 5
Kevin Eikleberry wins with a strong 32% of his first-time starters and saddles #6 Picture Lady (9-2), a debuting daughter of excellent young sire Constitution, whose offspring have won 21% of their first outings. Dark bay is a half-sister to seven winners and Eikleberry wins with 26% overall in maiden claiming events. Filly can win at first asking under Gonzalez, who has won with 19% of his rides for the barn in the last 60 days.
