Holland's North American Free Racing Picks for Sept. 14

Handicapper Tim Holland provides free picks for Delaware Park and Indiana Grand.

Delaware

Race 4

Trainer Diaz won with one of his last seven first-time starters and saddles #3 Adios Trippi (5-1), who has a good win-early pedigree being by Adios Charlie and out of a mare by Trippi. Works include a sharp 3-furlong move in :36 3/5 at Parx nine days ago for Diaz, who has won with 13% of his runners this year. Filly appears ready for a good first outing with Alvarado riding.

Race 8

#3 Fine N Dandy (10-1) flashed early speed before fading to finish unplaced in his debut facing better here in mid-July from which race the runner-up won next time out. Son of good, young sire Palace Malice is a half-brother to two winners and trainer Ritchey has won with five of his 10 starters at this meet. Dark bay can be forwardly placed from the start with Cedeno retaining the mount.

Indiana

Race 3

Sprinters on the main track include #6 Better Watch Out (9-2), who rallied from just off the pace to win his latest over 6 furlongs last month in his second start after a 4-month break. Trainer Greenhill wins with 16% of his runners third time off a layoff and with 17% that won last time out. Gelding should find a solid pace to stalk with De La Cruz remaining aboard.

Race 6

Mike Maker wins with 17% of his runners on grass and saddles #6 Blanket of Roses (9-2), who made progress to finish fifth at Saratoga in his latest in late July. Maker has won with 16% of his runners at this meet and son of Lookin at Lucky finished second in the Rushaway S. earlier this year. Chestnut can be along from off the pace with Jimenez up.
