Holland's North American Picks for June 3

New York racing returns at Belmont Park and Tim adds them to the cocktail of Gulfstream, Tampa Bay and Lone Star racing.
Belmont Park
Race 5
#6 Remoane (12-1) switches to turf after a fading unplaced effort, showing some early run at this distance on Aqueduct's main track in her debut in mid-March. Chestnut should be suited to grass being by Karakontie and out of a mare by Hard Spun, and trainer Morley has won with 26% of his runners since the beginning of the year. Filly can be in good position from the start with Alvarado retaining the mount.
Race 6
A competitive allowance on grass includes #3 Madita (7-2), who has not been seen since weakening to finish fifth as the favorite after being keen early over a mile at Belmont last September. Gray had some good form in Germany before closing to finish a good third at Saratoga two back in her first start for trainer Delacour, who wins with 28% of his runners that have not raced for 90+ days. Gray has been working well at Fair Hills and can be forwardly placed throughout with Irad Ortiz up.
Race 7
Trainer Cox wins with 20% of his runners that have not raced for 90+ days and saddles #10 Inside Info (4-1), who last raced when fifth in a small stakes at Finger Lakes in September in her second outing. Gelding posted a sharp 4-furlong work from the gate in :48 here six days ago in advance of his first outing for Cox, who wins with 28% overall in maiden claiming events. Dark bay can be tough at this level under Castellano.
Race 8
#7 Dream Friend (6-1) has not raced since finishing a close second at Aqueduct after leading early in November, finishing just ahead of Instilled Regard, who won the Ft. Lauderdale (G2) in his next outing. Son of Ghostzapper won one of two previous starts at this distance and has been working steadily for trainer Terranova, who wins with 24% of his runners that have not raced for 90+ days. 5-year-old can be on or near the early lead with Lezcano riding.
Gulfstream Park
Race 5
Maidens going 5-furlongs on grass include #1 Our Little Devil (8-1), who tries turf for the first time off a fading unplaced effort facing better on the main track early last month in her first start since February. Daughter of 14% turf sire Daredevil is a half-sister to one winner on grass and trainer Deaton won with two of his last nine runners making this surface change. Chestnut figures to be the one to catch breaking from the rail with apprentice Fuentes in the saddle.
Tampa Bay Downs
Race 8
#3 Monkey Mind (4-1) has a career record of 14-5-2-3 on grass and comes off a narrow loss when closing to finish second over the course and distance in early-April. Trainer Nations wins with 12% of his runners that have not raced for 46-90 days and with 21% of his starters on turf. Dark bay can be on or near the early lead with Mena retaining the mount.
Lone Star Park
Race 8
Trainer Sharp wins with 20% of his runners that have not raced for 90+ days and saddles #2 Quebec (2-1), who has not raced since fading to finish sixth at Fair Grounds in the Stall Memorial S. in mid-February. Daughter of Into Mischief has a record of 28-7-7-2 on turf and makes her fourth outing for Sharp, who wins with 19% of his runners on grass. Bay appears to have found an easy spot for her return and can be forwardly placed throughout with Cabrera in the irons.
