Belmont Park

Race 9

Blinkers and Lasix are added to #2 Delaware (5-1), who flattened out when unplaced over the course and distance in the First Defence last month in his first outing since finishing unplaced in the Prix du Moulin (G1) in France in September. Son of excellent turf sire Frankel had won the Prix Daphnis (G3) in his prior start. Juddmonte homebred posted a sharp 5-furlong work in 1:01 a week ago in advance of his second start for Chad Brown, who has won with 24% of his runners this meet. 4-year-old can  be along from off the pace with Irad Ortiz up.

Ellis Park

Race 4

#5 Native Charm (12-1) tries turf for the first time off a fading unplaced effort in a maiden special weight event on the main track at Indiana after showing some early run last month in her second outing. Trainer Deegan won with one of his last eight runners making this surface change and filly should take to grass being by Animal Kingdom and out of a mare by Unusual Heat. Chestnut can be in good early position with Burke remaining aboard.

Race 8

Trainer Walsh has won with 18% of his runners this year and saddles #2 Mintd (8-1), who was slightly disappointing when fourth at this distance at Churchill last month in her second North American outing. 4-year-old has won two of six career starts and finished second to subsequent Richmond (G2) winner Land Force in her final start as a juvenile. Walsh shows confidence for a better effort by going in this spot and filly can be running from off the pace with Graham in the irons.

Monmouth Park

Race 3

Sprinters on grass include #6 Mo City (7-2), who was not a factor when unplaced in a tough allowance at Churchill in her latest in mid-May and who will try turf for the first time. Filly should take to the surface being by Uncle Mo and out of a mare by Carson City, and trainer Stidham wins with 24% of his runners first time on grass. Bay has been working forwardly and improvement can be expected with Lopez riding.
