Belterra Park

Race 6

Allowance runners on turf include #10 Strut the Ring (4-1), who closed to finish second on the main track at Churchill in his latest in May. Dark bay has won four of seven starts on turf and trainer Shirer wins with 27% of his runners making this surface change and has won with 25% of his starters since the beginning of the year. Gelding can be along from off the pace with Leon in the irons.

Indiana Grand

Race 5

#5 Leading the Charge (7-2) makes his first outing for trainer Dobbs and has not been seen since fading to finish unplaced facing better in his debut at Fair Grounds in March. Dobbs wins with 14% of his runners that have not raced for 90+ days. Son of Suntracer is a half-brother to three winners, including one on turf, and gelding can be tough in his first outing facing state-bred competition.

Race 6

Trainer Gorder wins with 19% of his runners that have not raced for 90+ days and saddles #6 Miss Imperfection (10-1), who has not been seen since rallying from just off the pace to win on the all-weather surface at Turfway in December. Daughter of Majesticperfection has won one of three starts on regular dirt and has been working forwardly for Gorder, who has won with two of his five starters this year. Filly can be in good position from the start with Albarado riding.

Race 7

#8 Private Beach (10-1) gave way to finish unplaced at Churchill in her turf debut last month in outing she may have needed being her first since February. Filly should be suited to the surface being by Malibu Moon and out of a mare by More Than Ready, and was not disgraced when third behind the talented Dunbar Road at Belmont last year. 4-year-old figures to be the one to catch with Ramos in the saddle.
