SAVANNAH'S LUCY (#5) (3-1) is among the top contenders in the field coming off of a third-place performance in the third leg of the Indiana Sire Stakes on this surface. The Robert Reeser trainee has won or placed in seven of her 10 outings in 2019, and the three-year-old daughter of Guccio has the early presence to establish a good position into the first turn. Todd Warren will be in the sulky and should be tracking from third or fourth in the early going.
PARKLANE DESTINY (#1) (9-2) has shown steady improvement in each of her four races this campaign. The bay filly by Andover Hall had a tricky voyage last time out but still managed to be a close fourth, and the three-year-old might benefit from taking a week off in preparation of this assignment. Michael Oosting will drive the Henry Lunsford trainee and could place her on the lead early on.
STICK WITH PATSY (#2) (9-2) has been consistent if nothing else with six races in succession where she has finished in the top three. Four-year-old bay is not especially fond of winning having gone 2-for-25 dating back to 2018, but she owns very good current form while drawing in an ideal starting spot. The Alvin Miller trainee will be first or second into the turn with Ricky Macoumber Jr. in the controls. Indiana-bred also tops the cast with six lifetime wins.
INFINITY STICK (#4) (7-2) must get mentioned having finished runner-up at this level two races prior. The Big Stick Lindy filly has not been especially consistent of late, but the sophomore has also faced some tougher fields than most of her counterparts. Also conditioned by Reeser, the bay will attempt to do her best work from off the pace under the guidance of Sam Widger.
