Hoosier Park Harness Race of the Week for July 3

Hoosier Park Harness Racing by Jamie Linscott/Hoosier Park
The 4th Race at Hoosier Park on Wednesday is a non-winners of four/optional claiming event for pacers. The one-mile endeavor features a $7,000 purse and looks to be a most competitive assignment for the nine fillies and mares that are entered.

MJ'S REFLECTION (#9) (6-1) shows excellent current form and has displayed her versatility from a pair of wins in succession leading up to this test. The three-year-old daughter of Rockin Image led throughout in a facile tally two back, which preceded a late-running victory when she had just one horse beaten in early stretch. Indiana-bred has posted 27-and-change closing quarters in two straight and she will be moving best in the lane with Luke Plano in the sulky.
THAT'S A BINGO (#6) (7-2) could be the one to beat for trainer Alvin Miller. The Shadyshark Hanover filly has made the frame in a trio of races in succession, including a nice tally two races prior against a bit better. Third in a swiftly run race last week, the speedy filly gets off as well as any in the cast and should be first or second in the early stages with Ricky Macoumber in the bike.
QUEENS N TENS (#3) (4-1) finally receives a favorable post slot after being hung wide in each of her four assignments in 2019. Four-year-old Indiana-bred has been facing much better at Scioto Downs of late, and she could pop a big one in this affair with the class drop and venue change. Michael Oosting will drive the brown lass and the mare will be closer to the early action than she has been in her recent performances.
KAK'S ROCKIN (#4) (5-2) was just fourth most recently, but the Jeff Cullipher pupil finished runner-up three back and was a going-away winner two prior. Rockin Image three-year-old lacks consistency but has proven on more than one occasion that she could be up to the task with her best. Sam Widger will guide the Indiana-bred, who will be rallying from well off the pace in this event. Kak's Rockin might be overbet, but she still merits a winning chance for top connections.
