Hoosier Park Harness Race of the Week for June 19

The 11th Race at Hoosier Park on Wednesday is the second division of the Indiana Sires Stakes for three-year-old fillies. The classy daughter of Swan For All concluded 2018 on a dominant three-race win streak as one of the top juveniles on the grounds. In two tries this season, the brown filly needed one off the layoff from a tough post and then encountered a sloppy oval when a distant third most recently. Peter Wrenn will be in the bike and will have the lass forwardly placed from the opening bell. SAVANNAH’S LUCY (#5) (7-1) was victorious two races back in the first leg of the series and could offer value in this heat. The daughter of Guccio flattened out after making a solid middle move when first over last week, but she might have needed the outing when missing a turn the previous week. The Robert Resser trainee has won or placed in six of her eight 2019 assignments and will once again have Todd Warren in the sulky. SOPHIA LIA (#4) (2-1) has put in a pair of excellent races in 2019 and slight improvement makes her formidable in this affair. Trained by 24% conditioner Christopher Beaver, the sophomore daughter of Guccio was a winner off the layoff here two back prior to a sharp runner-up performance at Northfield Park last time out. The bay has shown marked improvement from her two-year-old year and is hard to ignore in her current form cycle. John De Long inherits the driving duties. SWANIND FASTLANE (#3) (5-2) has been first or second in each of her four assignments in 2019 and rates an obvious winning chance today. The Indiana-bred three-year-old opened a big lead in leg one only to be caught before the wire in an excellent performance for trainer/driver Lewayne Miller.
