Hoosier Park Harness Race of the Week for May 29, 2019

Wednesday's first leg of the Indiana Sires Stakes is the Hoosier Park Race of the Week. Carded as the 9th, the $48,000 feature for sophomore fillies attracted a field of nine with a quartet of live contenders sired by Swan for All. MORAIRTIME (#8) (6-1) made an early move and splashed home an impressive winner in the slop in her most recent effort. The brown filly has won two straight leading up to this assignment and she draws well directly outside of the one to beat. The Christopher Beaver trainee has raced herself back into shape and owns the versatility to win from up front, or from off the pace. John De Long will be in the bike. MEASUREDPERFECTION (#7) (8-5) was a powerful winner in her seasonal debut in advance of today. The Ron Burke pupil left little doubt in leading at every call, and she could be even more dangerous in this spot with a race under her belt. Daughter of Swan for All ran well with some of the better juveniles on the grounds at Hoosier in 2018 and seems poised to pick up where she left off. KOTA'S SWAN (#3) (9-1) could be the value of the race. She was very good on the course as a two-year-old and has room for big improvement second time off the shelf. Jeff Cullipher trainee broke in her seasonal bow while well backed, and while she might still be a bit short today, her best puts her in the mix at a nice price. Trace Tetrick will be in the sulky. GRAND SWAN (#1) (7-2) has speed and the rail as an obvious contender in her 2019 debut. The third daughter of Swan for All compiled a smart 12-8-3-0 line as a two-year-old and led at every call in each of her qualifiers in preparation of this run. Bay could be the one to catch in the lane. KISSESFORALL (#9) (5-1) is the fourth Swan for All contender, and the second making a seasonal debut.
