Mia Mischief (Horsephotos.com)
Nine fillies and mares will dash six panels on the Churchill Downs dirt in Friday’s $120,000 Dream Supreme S. Grade 1 queen #7 Mia Mischief (6-5) is the class of the field, but she faces some interesting prospects in the Friday feature.

Dream Supreme S. Analysis
The majority of the pace in the field is drawn outside, with #5 Meadow Dance (8-1) and #6 Shanghai Tariff (6-1) being confirmed front runners, while Mia’s Mischief and #8 Ascot Day (10-1) are also sure to be forcing the issue from the break.
#1 Majestic Reason (5-1) has arguably the best turn of foot in the field, and she gets a perfect post slot along the rail. I will key with her in my wagers.
Dream Supreme Wagers
- $20 Win and Place #1 Majestic Reason = $40
- $10 Trifecta 1,7 with 1,7 with 2,5 = $40
Here is the Dream Supreme field and morning line odds:
#1 MAJESTIC REASON (5-1) -- Stakes-winning daughter of Majestic Warrior has improved in 2019 and comes in off a good third in the Gallant Bloom (G2) most recently. Maryland-bred draws inside and lands in a field full of pace, which should aid her chances in the lane beneath Chris Landeros.
#2 DIVINE QUEEN (4-1) -- Open Mind S. heroine has changed tactics in her last trio of assignments by getting into the race from the break, and it’s worked well. Buff Bradley trainee has excellent current form, and she loves Churchill Downs with a four-for-five mark. Calvin Borel retains the mount.
#3 UPSET BREWING (20-1) -- Second from the Buff Bradley barn finished third in the Open Mind S. last time out to pick up her eighth placing on the course from nine tries. Justin Phillip four-year-old is just three-for-26 lifetime, but she rates an exotics chance from off the pace. Gabe Saez will be up.
#4 PRETTY GREELEY (20-1) -- Stakes vixen has been unplaced in her last pair of racs and shows just a single tally from 10 runs on the course. John Ortiz trainee would need a big step forward to score an upset victory this affair.
#5 MEADOW DANCE (8-1) -- Brad Cox charge enters with a three-race win streak that started with an allowance triumph here in June. Jimmy Creed filly has finished in the top three in every lifetime performance, and the dark bay is training well in preparation of the Dream Supreme. Shaun Bridgmohan will guide the sophomore.
#6 SHANGHAI TARIFF (6-1) -- Fleet filly from the Jimmy DiVito barn might be the swiftest horse from the gate in the field but is likely to face pressure throughout. Talented four-year-old goes All Weather to the main oval today and rates a chance if she clears early on.
#7 MIA MISCHIEF (6-5) -- Grade 1 heroine was a nice third in the Thoroughbred Club of America S. (G2) at Keeneland last time out for Steve Asmussen. Into Mischief filly shows a 7-4-2-0 mark at Churchill Downs and should appreciate the class relief today. Julien Leparoux inherits the ride.
#8 ASCOT DAY (10-1) -- Open Mind S. runner-up led in the stretch held well for the place spot in advance of today. Danny Peitz pupil draws outside of the speed and will sit a nice stalking trip to the top of the lane under Declan Cannon. Street Sense filly wouldn’t be a total surprise against this bunch.
#9 SKAMANIA (20-1) -- Two-time local winner from the Al Stall shedrow was a solid allowance winner in preparing for this stakes affair most recently. Adios Charlie filly has room to improve second time off the short layoff from the outside post, and Mitchell Murrill will be rallying the bay from off the pace at a square price.
