Seven fillies and mares will travel 1 1/4 miles on the inner turf course at Belmont Park in Sunday's $500,000 Flower Bowl Stakes (G1). The winner of the affair gets their ticket punched to the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1) as part of the “Win & You’re In” Challenge series.

ONTHEMOONAGAIN (#1) (9-2) – One of two for Chad Brown draws inside in a third start since coming to the United States. The Cape Cross filly was stuck behind a pair of dawdling pace scenarios at Saratoga and could get a more honest voyage today. Javier Castellano has the assignment.

LADY MONTDORE (#2) (7-2) – Tom Albertrani trainee has won by open lengths in both of her starts since importing from France, with a Glens Falls (G2) triumph most recently. Godolphin homebred will be forwardly placed again with Manny Franco up.

HOLY HELENA (#3) (3-1) – Canadian Classic heroine is unraced since June and makes her return for Jimmy Jerkens. The Ghostzapper filly eclipsed the Sheepshead Bay Stakes (G2) on this turf in the summer and her best gives her a big chance.

TRICKY ESCAPE (#4) (8-1) – Hat Trick mare rolls in with three wins in succession for conditioner Lynn Ashby. Five-year-old has never been better and regular pilot Chris DeCarlo comes along for the ride.

DANCELAND (#5) (12-1) – Glens Falls third picks an ambitious spot to pick up a first stakes win. The Shug McGaughey trainee owns a win and a second from two on this green but needs improvement to beat these.

FEELING BOSSY (#6) (30-1) – Jason Servis trainee has missed the board in three straight. She is hard to back with any confidence right now.

FOURSTAR CROOK (#7) (7-5) – Horse to beat is consistently very good with an accompanying six-for-seven mark at Belmont. This Chad Brown trainee is a Grade 2 queen at the distance and is a must use beneath Irad Ortiz Jr.

ANALYSIS

The pace of the field is in question some. Lady Montdore, Tricky Escape and Feeling Bossy have all shown a measure of early foot in the past.

Holy Helena might sit behind them and get first run, with the Brown duo getting in gear in the stretch.
