#2 Motion Emotion is the inside speed of the race and will lead the cast into the first turn. #3 Midnight Bisou and #5 Bossy Bride will be closest to the pacesetter in the early stages. The tempo will be moderate.

Personal Ensign Contenders

#1 ABOUNDING JOY -- Iowa Distaff S. romper draws the rail for her first Grade 1 test for Brisset. Lightly raced Quality Road mare has run big in two of her three assignments this campaign, but she faces a tall task in a fine field on Saturday. Jose Ortiz rides.

#2 MOTION EMOTION -- Interesting Take Charge Indy filly will be the one to catch for Baltas. Talented 4-year-old was a game second in the Fleur de Lis (G2) at Churchill Downs most recently and has improved her Brisnet Speed figure in four consecutive affairs. Irad will guide the one to catch.

#3 MIDNIGHT BISOU -- Superstar mare is pure class and romped home a facile winner of the Fleur de Lis in her first race since the Feb. 29 Saudi Cup. Midnight Lute 5-year-old has run very well at Saratoga in the past, which includes a nose victory in the race in 2019. Santana inherits the mount atop the clear favorite.

#4 VEXATIOUS -- Sisterson trainee is winless dating back to 2018, and despite her recent second to Monomoy Girl at 14-1 in the Ruffian (G2), looks to be up against it on this occasion. Daughter of Giant’s Causeway ran one of the best races of her career when second in the Summer Colony S. last August on the oval, but she will need even better to challenge the top ones in this offering.

#5 BOSSY BRIDE -- Class riser exits a nice win in the starter allowance ranks but faces much better on Saturday. Malibu Moon filly would be a huge surprise with a placing in the Personal Ensign.

#6 POINT OF HONOR -- Consistently very good Curlin filly just missed when a nose second in the Ogden Phipps (G1) last time out. Weaver pupil is due for a breakthrough at the level after having placed in each of her four Grade 1 attempts to date. Chestnut will rally from off the pace with regular rider Castellano in the controls.
