The Delta Jackpot Stakes is a $1,000,000 Grade 3 dirt race for 2-year-old Thoroughbreds at Delta Downs in Vinton, Louisiana. The Delta Jackpot is an official Kentucky Derby prep race, offering 10 qualifying points to the winner. The race was established in 2002 as a 1 mile event and was extended to its current distance of 1 1/16 miles the following year. It is the second-richest race for 2-year-old Thoroughbreds after the Breeders' Cup Juvenile.Saturday, Nov 19th, 2016
