Bold Ruler Analysis
#2 Share the Ride will be controlling speed and the race goes through him.
Bold Ruler Contenders
#1 MIHOS -- Cairo Prince 4-year-old draws the rail for his second try off the short absence. Bay is winless from a handful of tries on the surface, but he finished a solid third in a local allowance test last time out, prior to firing a bullet morning drill last week. Kentucky-bred will be rallying late beneath Irad.
#2 SHARE THE RIDE -- Horse to catch and beat led to the top of the lane prior to finishing third in the recent Vosburgh (G2) for Arriaga. Mr. Prospector S. victor has shown obvious improvement since adding the hood this season, and he will be well clear from the break under Manny Franco.
#3 WENDELL FONG -- Stakes winner has good tactical speed and will get first run on the pacesetter under Saez. Flat Out colt is a stakes winner on the oval over sloppy going, and I expect big improvement from the 4-year-old in his second since arriving in the Lynch barn.
#4 ARCH CAT -- 13-time winner had a three-race win streak snapped when an allowance third at Parx in his latest showing. Arch gelding is training in swift fashion in preparation of his first run at Belmont Park for Velazquez. Kendrick Carmouche has the assignment.
#5 MAJESTIC DUNHILL -- Talented son of Majesticperfection showed a new dimension when close to the pace throughout in a game allowance effort on the course most recently. The Weaver pupil is far from a win machine, but he has faced some tough opposition over the past two seasons and fits well in this offering. Joel Rosario rides.
#6 PHAT MAN -- Munnings chestnut has been first or second in three of four assignments since adding blinkers, led by a tally in the Fred W. Hooper (G3) two back Sweezey trainee was last seen finishing a clear runner-up in the Gulfstream Park Mile (G2) in February, and he has trained well in the interim, as well. Castellano will ride the 6-year-old.
