Palm Beach Fabulous Friday Preview 4-7-2017

My favorite racing day of the week is back, as the Friday Matinee at Palm Beach is jam packed with superstars from start to finish.  Superior Tyson, Whirlin Toodlelu, Barts Big Bang and of course the Fabulous One herself Fraulein Morgan all get the call for this weekend appetizer of events.

Here's the top races we'll be following for the Friday afternoon action at "The Beach."

Race 6 Grade A 545 Yards

The new leader of the world famous Koppe, Staats & Collins Team is now #3 Pat C Faro after her impressive start to what should be an outstanding career.  Over 50% in the winners circle already and was a stakes Finalist last month in the St Pats.  She gets the lead, it sayonara for everybody else.

Faro may have come from behind, as the early burn of two time stakes finalist O Ya Sunflower from the Lester Raines Kennel likely is your early leader.

Faro gets her 15th win on the season in a competitive race.

Race 10 Grade A 545 Yards

I'd love to take my girl #5 Marge In Charge in this one.  She's just not quite ready for the firepower that is locked and loaded for this heavyweight showdown.

The "Knockout King" #8 Superior Tyson put South FLA on notice that he as back last weekend, thumping his 41st career victory in convincing style.  The 8 box only has me liking last years St Pats champ even more here.

Watch out for sensational rookie #2 Super C Martha who has ran with the big dogs here for a few months and has topped 8 victories in just 12 starts.

Tyson continues his comeback tour.

Race 12 Grade A 545 Yards

This girl is one of the most entertaining hounds you will see all year long.

#2 Whirlin Toodlelu from the red hot Douglas Kennel is the one to watch here.  She draws her favorite inside hole and shouldn't have too much trouble taking care of business.  #6 Dutch Jackie presents the biggest threat for an upset.

Race 14 Grade A 545 Yards

The most powerful greyhound at Palm Beach is set for liftoff.

#1 Barts Big Bang is an absolute beast, rocketing to three of the top 10 fastest splits of any sprint hound this season.  A bit unpredictable, but in the 1 hole should be money in the bank.  Last time in the red box, he won by over six lengths with a blazing 29.33 secs split.

Big Bang breaks the sound barrier and sends the stopwatch to the clinic yet again.

Race 15 Grade A 660 Yards

The superstar the fans and players will be sticking around to see.

#4 Fraulein Morgan from the Janie Carroll Kennel has dominated from box to wire this season, capturing the St Pats title last month and running into the hearts of new fans along the way.  Going for her 4th straight W against a field that should be very beatable for the 30 time winner this season.

Morgan will match up again with last years Track Champ #3 Atascocita Camry from Suncoast Racing who has the early speed of a Ferrari but closes like a Geo Prism.  Last weekend, Camry took the lead against Morgan but ran out of gas as expected at the line.  You can expect that same type of race to happen here.
