Welcome to the semi-finals of the “Super Bowl of Palm Beach” The He’s My Man Classic! In what is one of the most competitive fields of all time here, we are down to the Sweet 16. The Top 8 point finishers from the Qualifying rounds will make the Final next Saturday, January 17th.Here are my predictions for the two Stakes semi-finals at “The Beach.”

Will “The Queen” #7 JS SpeedyPebbles be back on her game this afternoon? After finishing a disappointing third last time out, I’m looking for the season wins leader to get back to the winner’s circle. She possesses one of the most prolific rushes on the planet and should be out in front today. Has also hit the board an astounding 93% this season.
AMF Pushover
Look out for #5 AMF Pushover from B & B Racing. Has had some of the most dramatic closes of the season here, including in the first round of this Classic where he went from last to first for the victory. If he is in the mix coming down the stretch, he’s going to win.
#2 Hustle It Up from the hottest team at Palm The Janie Carroll Kennel is in a nice spot on the inside and should get a sweet price with Pebbles & Pushover most likely being the favorites

Race 14
When you start getting compared to Rob Gronkowski, you know you’re going to get some major attention from the greyhound world.
#6 Just For Kicks from The Janie Carroll Kennel is the second fastest greyhound in the history of the 545 yard course after he blitzed a 29.11 secs victory in Round 3. His times have drastically fallen in his last four starts and looks just unstopable. Hard to pick against him here.
I am shocked at the way #4 Storm Control from owner Steve Schlachter ran last round. A 6th place finish has him in danger of missing the Finals if he doesn’t run well today. The last race was the first time he has missed the board all season, so a rebound today is highly probable.
The shocker of the Tournament came last race when #7 Turbo Casper knocked off an All-Star caliber field for the win. Does get the same box he won out of last time out.
Watch out for Futurity Champion #8 Loop A. Has won 2 out of 3 starts in his young career from the outside.
