Palm Beach Superstar Saturday Preview 3-25-17

March 25th, 2017

The rivalry is at an all time high.

Superstar Saturday has a whole new meaning at Palm Beach as new St Pats winner Fraulein Morgan and Derby Champ Janice Dean are set to do battle in the finale.  Along with the "Knockout King" coming back from vacation and hot puppy Sunflower starting, this will be an outstanding card to watch and play.

Here is the top races we'll be following for the Saturday Matinee at "The Beach."

Race 6 Grade A 545 Yards

The Dynamite Kid is back.

Last years St Pats champion #3 Superior Tyson from B & B Racing is ready to return to work after taking the last two months to soak in the sun down in South FLA.  The 40 time career winner should be in top form coming up in the next few weeks, but it might take a few starts to get back to dominance.

Going with the veteran #7 PJ Smoke Em Out to take the lead early and just barely hang on for the victory.

Picks 7-1-3-2

Race 10 Grade A 545 Yards

You know you are great when you have run in two stakes Finals already and you haven't even turned two years old yet.

#2 O Ya Sunflower from the Lester Raines Kennel has been ultra impressive in her rookie campaign, racking up 13 victories & running against the best of the best here for the last 5 months.  Should be able to carve up this field from the inside post.

Picks 2-5-8-4

Race 12 Grade A 545 Yards

Look out for #1 JN's I B Slammin from Rader Racing who can really pop the lid and will be going for his 5th win in 6 starts.  Being on the rail on has me liking him in all plays here even more.

Picks 1-7-5-8

Race 15 Grade TA 660 Yards

The reason why this broadcast will be watched around the world in anticipation.

One of the greatest rivalries in the game returns back to the "Rhonda" Course where it belongs.  #2 Fraulein Morgan with her unbelievable 28 victories on the season and #6 Janice Dean "The Weather Machine" with her nation wide fan base tangle once again this afternoon.

Morgan coming off her St Patrick's victory where she won by the slimmest of margins draws the inside hole right where she likes it.  With a Track Championship all but wrapped up for Morgan and her team from the Janie Carroll Kennel, the "Fabulous One" will try and continue her dominance at this track. Huge rush to the turn that is world class to say the least.

With her Triple Crown run abruptly ended last week, Janice Dean will be looking for a bit of payback.  This distance is preferred by the Fox News favorite and has shown her best racing from the mid track box.  Only problem is that she most likely will have to run down Morgan, which has been done only three times ever in the season wins leaders career.

Fraulein Morgan continues to shine in one of the most dominant seasons of all time.

Picks 2-6-8-7

Top Pick - Race 15 ~ #2 Fraulein Morgan

Best LongShot - Race 8 ~ #4 TNT Ole Red

Enjoy Superstar Saturday everybody!
