Palm Beach Top 10 Rankings March 2017

Another great month of racing has completed at The Palm Beach Kennel Club!  The top stars continue to shine this season, while as always some new faces have emerged this month that got our attention.

Here is the Top 10 greyhounds for March at "The Beach."

#1 Fraulein Morgan  ~ Middle Distance  ~ Janie Carroll Kennel

~30 wins on the season, 37.37 secs best ever time

One of the greatest four legged athletes in the world today. The Fabulous One won the $50,000 St Patrick's Day Invitational by a whisker this month and also notched her 30th win on the season.  With three months left until the end of the meet, Morgan has the opportunity to have one of the all time best seasons here if she continues to run like this. History making middle distance phenomenon with this superstar.

#2 Whirlin Toodlelu  ~ Sprinter  ~ Douglas Kennel

~18 wins on the season, 29.23 secs best ever time

"Toodles" came within centimeters of winning the 50K St Pats Final.  A fantastic combo rush/closer who has had some of the most exciting finishes of any greyhound this season.  Don't be surprised if she wins in bunches to end this year.

#3 Janice Dean  ~ Middle Distance  ~ Brindle Kennel

~18 wins on the season, 37.31 secs best ever time

"The Weather Machine" came up short in her quest for the Triple Crown but took fans on one unbelievable ride along the way.  Has one of the sweetest rivalries in the country on the "Rhonda" Course with Fraulein Morgan.  Will be featured on the front cover of The Greyhound Review coming up within the next week for all of her accomplishments this season.

#4 Barts Big Bang  ~ Sprinter  ~ Douglas Kennel

~19 wins on the season, 29.19 secs best ever time

When he goes big, the stopwatch is absolutely terrified.

Big Bang added to his scorching wins this month by firing away for the 29.27 secs victory on March 31st.  He now owns three of the fastest times of any sprinter this season.  Hard to predict but one powerful greyhound when he's in the mood.

#5 Big Red Dog  ~ Sprinter  ~ Rader Racing

~19 wins on the season, 29.46 secs best ever time

Fires like a rocket out of the starting box.  The three time stakes finalist can punish most Grade A fields he faces.  "Clifford" has the second most victories of any greyhound at Palm Beach this season.

#6 Pat C Faro  ~ Sprinter  ~ Koppe, Staats & Collins Kennel

~14 wins on the season, 29.36 secs best ever time

The new leader of one of Palm Beach's most famous teams.  Faro was a St Pats Finalists this month and is tough as nails on the lead.  Over 50% winner already in her young career.  Huge potential.

#7 Super C Martha  ~ Sprinter  ~ Lester Raines Kennel

~8 wins on the season, 29.29 secs best ever time

The Southland invader loves her new home in paradise.  Martha has already tallied 8 wins in 12 starts and is one of the top prospects Palm Beach has.  She is set for huge things at a track that is perfect for her skill set.

#8 Superior Tyson  ~ Sprinter  ~ B & B Racing

The "Knockout King" is officially back.

The 2016 St Pats Champ took the winter off to get healthy and is ready to reclaim the Royal Palm Course again.  Beat an all-star caliber field on March 31st, which was enough for me to believe again.  When he's on, the 40 time winner is an absolute monster to contend with.

#9 Johnny Souffle  ~ Sprinter  ~ Rader Racing

~12 wins on the season, 29.70 secs best ever time

Can you smell what Johnny's cooking?  The greyhound named after the world famous host of The Backstretch Show Mike Balsamo romped to three straight victories to end the month and looks to be ready to take on the track's best.  Heeeeerrrrreeeeeee comes Johnny!

#10 JS Mad Rush  ~ Super Sprinter  ~ Koppe, Staats & Collins Kennel

~13 wins on the season, 16.54 secs best ever time

The newest star of the Kb's Like A Fox Course has taken over for owner Shannon Henry.  Five wins in her last six starts is the model of consistency at a distance that nobody has seemed to master this season.
