Red Hot Races This Weekend
Back at it again at bestbet Jacksonville with some of the best greyhounds here in the feature races for this weekend. We have top grade events over 550 and 660 yards and we get another Marathon in the mix for those of you that like the added, added distance. Let’s check out the races and see if we can get you cashing some tickets this weekend at bestbet Jacksonville.
Race 10 – Another tight race and finish here as the old dog tries to teach the new ones some tricks. Multi-Stakes Finalist C Ville Wynter finally got off the snide and won last time out and posted up a blistering time in the process. Again here she will have to get it done from off the pace, but she is up to the task. Kc’s Todd is ideally posted, could see the early lead, and might wire this field on the front end. Watch out for the back to back winner here. Others to consider include Sheezsohot, posted well, solid A, always coming, and O Ya Casey Jones who will be around throughout again here. (3-1-2-8)
Race 11 – All American Time as Seldom Told gets the one box! Not missing the quiniela since returning, and that includes 3 wins, or better yet how about 11 wins in 16 races and 14 quinielas in the same amount of races, they are not going to beat him here in this effort. Look for an unstoppable late drive to score yet another W. Early Julian Of Ruckus should be the one to catch as she has the best early speed in the bunch, but she is short late and might have trouble holding on. Also vying for best of rest consideration will be the solid grade A chasing Flying Rose from a good outside post, and the getting back to grade A runner C Ville Primo. (1-4-7-3)
Race 15 – Back to 660 once again and here we get the best router at the racetrack. Barts Risingstar has won 4 of 6 races and is a dual threat that can win with or without the early lead in any race. He can flat out dominate when he breaks well, and tonight, no matter the lead, he will find a way to win. Pressing the early lead should be the ankle burners C Ville Clone and Mac Ennison. Both have the skills to see the front end, but neither have the staying power to steal away a win. Game efforts, but short late, settling back in the in the money pack at the wire. Don’t sleep on Rs I’m A Legend either. This guy likes the added distance and could improve on a solid effort last time out. (4-5-8-2)
Race 11 – Patton Silver Cup winner Ln Houdini is killing it right now and is riding high on back to back winning trips around the oval. This stalking closer and been breaking well and outrushing everyone to the front end and that makes him unbeatable at bestbet Jacksonville. Another midtrack post, another field he can beat, all things are pointing to a hat-trick in this effort. Houdini might have to come from off the pace to get it done though as the big time early speeders, Kanes Mini and Rams Moberrie, will be battling it out on the front end for the lead. Neither is a match for him late and both will be short at the wire. Lee Utah also gets some consideration with the back to back wins and the great post, but up two grades, the competition level might be just too much for her in this effort. (4-7-2-1)
Race 11 – Now for the fastest greyhound at the racetrack. No really! Charlie Bale is as fast as he wants to be, and if he wants to run, he can pick up anyone in the stretch. Just look at his last effort. He ran down Ww’s Sammy for fun and drew away late to coast to the victory. Here is in an ideal starting box and could even contend for the front end as they round the turn. If he gets clear early, the track record could be in jeopardy. Pushing the early lead most likely will be the 2015 Jacksonville Sprint Classic winner Cj’s Colin. Posted well inside, he should get room to rush and run and should be a front end factor along with the solid grade A rusher Arkaska Lotus. Recent stakes finalist Idaho Kinky might be in the mix as well, that is if he can get out of the box well in this effort. (8-2-6-7)
Race 15 – It might not be a grade A race, this one is a grade TC, but it is a marathon so we will feature it in our selections. What a great way to cap off the evening, especially when you get a solid play in place. Done Dusted is CLEARLY the greyhound to beat in this effort. She is coming off a rest and has just started to round back into form. She loves this distance, she won the holiday stakes over 770 against the best at the racetrack, and now she is in grade C. She likes the post too. Everything is going for her here, key her first and second with the rest and cash, cash, cash some tickets. Watch out for the other true 770 greyhounds tonight too. Sheza Ali was made to run this far and has been successful in the past. Pat C Da Ta is down a grade, gets a great post, and should factor near the lead throughout. Se’s Draft Pick could also squeak into the mix. No 770 recently, but with the rail, the room will help her get back into the swing of things tonight. (3-6-8-1)

Race 7 – Starting out over 660 yards, we get a highly contested event to watch and wager on. C Ville C Alice looks like the one to beat. Hot off a win, she can come on late with the best of them and will like the midtrack post. She proves best. Threatening late should be the 770 track record holder Herstal, along with the late flying factor Fiesta Bonker. All will have to catch JD Virgil Earp on the lead if they want to win, as he is the only early speeder and gets a great starting box. (6-4-8-2)Race 10 – Another tight race and finish here as the old dog tries to teach the new ones some tricks. Saturday matinee August 27, 2016
Race 7 – Time for Pirro to win again! Atascocita Pirro was on a 4 race win streak, but ran into trouble in back to back races. From the 1 box, he will clear, and once he has room, he will find a way to start off a new streak in this effort. He will not be alone at the wire though. There are several talented greyhounds here and each will be doing their best to try and take him down. Recent stakes finalist, Easi Charlie is finding her form once again, and you have to like the back to back to back wins, and 6 straight superfecta finishes, that Kanes Bubba brings to the table. Also watch out for Godzilla! Godzilla is a MONSSTER when he gets loose early on, not so much if he is behind at the break. If he clears, he too could be factor at the wire, notice the 30.39 win 2 races back from a similar post. (1-7-5-6)Race 11 – Patton Silver Cup winner Ln Houdini is killing it right now and is riding high on back to back winning trips around the oval. Race 7 – It’s all about the post position. Ww’s Sammy is other-worldly when starting in the red blanket, and recently no one has been looking as good as she has. Four straight quinileas, including a win by 10 over All-American Seldom Told, do I need to say any more? She loves the post, she is red hot, she will break close and dominate late to win here. Another extremely well posted threat is Js Great Escape. This greyhound is as wide as they come and gets the 8 box to start this race from. In her last two efforts from here, a win and a close second, she used her early speed to factor all the way to the wire. Expect more of the same tonight. Others to think about include the stalking closer Lee Raven, as well as, the resurging runner Boc’s Andross. (1-8-3-6)Race 11 – Now for the fastest greyhound at the racetrack. No really! Sunday matinee August 28th, 2016
Race 11 – After a lackluster effort last time out, Real Good Feelin looks to bounce back in this effort. Posted well outside, and in a field that she can handle, I expect for her to do whatever she needs to do to win this race. She has loads of late speed, and when she gets loose early, she can run off and hide from fields in the stretch. Here she is clearly the class, and if she shows up, she will dominate this race. Trying for next best will be Flyin Ruth Riley. Hot off a win, and with a great post, the early speed should carry her to around the pace and keep her there for the duration. Nb’s Mighty Love is a stalking closer that likes the middle of the racetrack and will factor once again in this effort. He can come from off the pace too and might be a surprise threat at the finish line. Tony Cabrera has had some recent success and is now up 2 grades in this one. The post helps and the late speed does too, so watch for him to find a way into the superfecta today. (7-1-4-2)ADVERTISEMENT
