SOUTHLAND Preview - Friday evening, November 28
Happy Thanksgiving to all. I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday and being with family and friends. Southland has a full card scheduled for Friday evening with 18 races and MoneyMaker Mike has several of last month's and this month's 5 up can coming greyhounds along with three MoneyMaker picks in which to help put some big $$$$$$ in our pockets. Thanks for reading and good luck with all your wagering opportunities here at BetAmerica.
In the 1st race we have the (5) TC'S MIKE TROUT, one of this month's 5 and up coming greyhounds running in a Grade B contest over the 583 yard course. He has 8 top 3 finishes in 11 races which includes 3 wins already in his young career. Don't overlook him as in his first B race last time out he finished in a dead heat for second, beaten only by a nose.
In the 2nd race over the 583 yard course, another one of the 5 up and coming greyhounds for November is the (4) FLYING YAHOO who has moved up to Grade C and is 3 of 3 in the tri as well as having two very impressive schooling wins before that. With a huge rush to the turn and a strong closing move, this talented dog has one big career ahead of him.
The 5th race has one of the recently picked 5 up and coming greyhounds for December in a grade M 583 yard course, the (1) OSHKOSH GOOBER. He likes the inside and the one box will definitely make him the one to beat. He ran three schooling races and won them all, in his first official start last time out he gave a nice effort and came away with a fine 3rd place finish beaten only by a length and a half.
The first MoneyMaker pick of the evening comes in the 10th race, a Grade B contest over the 583 yard course and I'm going with the (8) FLY AQIB TALIB in this one. He is a mid-track runner that can go early and being a drop in grade, I like his chances here.
Another MoneyMaker play is in the 14th race, a Grade D contest over the 660 yard course and I like the (5) Munney to be the surprise of the race. This is only her 2nd official race in the last month but she did run 4th in it over this course so I'll go with her. She needs to come out fast and look for early position on the rail to have the best chance and I think she will.
The last MoneyMaker choice for the evening is in the 17th, a Grade A event over the 583 yard course and is the (6) HL'S TRAVIS. I think he uses his strong rush to the turn to be in the lead early and if so, I like his chances to win. He is a grade drop and it may be the edge he needs to get the job done.
Wednesday's results for MoneyMaker Mike's picks are listed below.
Race 6 - Oshkosh Addision - finished 7th
Race 13 - In My Memory - finished 2nd
Race 16 - SE's Jet Fuel - finished 6th
Race 18 - Counselor - finished 1st
Thanks again for reading and good luck to everyone.
