Southland's $25,000 HOUND MADNESS STAKES Moves on to the 4th Round

Round 3 of the $25,000 Southland HOUND MADNESS STAKES is in the books and the field is now down to just 8 talented and hard running greyhounds. Round 3 was somewhat similar to Rounds 1 and 2 in the fact that of the 8 match-ups in Round 3, the lower seed was able to win almost half of them. The only number 1 seed that is left is Classy Wolverine as 5 of the remaining 8 greyhounds that advanced were seeded 5th or lower when the stakes competition started on March 5.  This year's HOUND MADNESS STAKES has been full of upsets and surprises and fans should expect that trend to continue the rest of the way. Of the 16 top seeds that began this contest, there are only 3 that are still left.  Listed below is the remaining schedule of the Hound Madness Stakes as well as the greyhounds that are remaining, who they are matched up against in Round 4 and what they were seeded before the competition started. Best of luck to all those remaining as well as their kennels, owners and all other connections as we get nearer to crowning the champion.
