Tiz the Law listed at 5-2 for Pool 6 of Kentucky Derby Future Wager
2020 Kentucky Derby Future Wager
Belmont S. (G1) winner Tiz the Law (5-2), recent Blue Grass (G2) scorer Art Collector (9-2), and Santa Anita Derby (G1) victor Honor A. P. (5-1) are the early favorites for Pool 6 of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager (KDFW), which will be held this weekend beginning at noon ET on Friday. The KDFW will be held concurrently with the second and final Kentucky Oaks Future Wager (KOFW).
$2 Win and Exacta wagering will be offered on the KDFW. Betting closes Sunday at 6 p.m.
The 1 1/4-mile Kentucky Oaks, postponed from May due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held at Churchill Downs on Sept. 5.
Bets for the KDFW can be placed on TwinSpires.com. There are no refunds in the Kentucky Derby Future Wager. Should Churchill Downs officials determine during the duration of the three-day pool that one of the wagering interests has experienced an injury, illness or other circumstance that would prevent the horse from participating in the Kentucky Derby, betting on the individual horse will be suspended immediately.
