The Queen Elizabeth II Stakes is a Group I flat horse race run annually since 1955 at the Ascot Racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire, England. Inaugurated as the Knights' Royal Stakes, it was later renamed in 1955 in honor of Queen Elizabeth II, whose reign in the UK from 1952 until her death in 2022.
Jockey Willie Carson has a record eight wins to his name, with his first four wins coming consecutively between 1975 and 1978.
As part of the Breeders' Cup Challenge Series, the winner will gain an automatic berth into the Breeders' Cup Mile.
