TwinSpires Tournaments Tour

  • May 22, 2026 through April 25, 2027
  • Only tournaments marked as eligible for Tour Points will be eligible for the TwinSpires Tour.
  • Eligible tournaments will be available on the schedule approximately ten days prior to the tournament date.
  • There will be 5 eligible tournaments every week.
  • Only players playing tournaments through their TwinSpires account are eligible for Tour points.
  • Only the top 25 scores count towards the final leaderboard.
  • If you already have 25 tournament scores that count towards your tour points total, it will require a future tournament score to be higher than the lowest score of those 25 tournament scores to replace your lowest tournament score.
  • Once a month, there will be one tournament designated as being worth double Tour points. Meaning the entry's final score will be doubled for that one particular tournament.

Tour Points

  • Points are gained by finishing position, amount wagered, and number of entries for each individual tournament and each individual entry in that tournament.
  • Points will be given to the top 5 finishers weighted by the entry fee of the tournament – meaning a $1,000 tournament will be worth 10 times the amount of points as a $100 tournament:
    • 1st = 20 points x 0.01 entry fee amount
    • 2nd = 10 points x 0.01 entry fee amount
    • 3rd = 7 points x 0.01 entry fee amount
    • 4th = 5 points x 0.01 entry fee amount
    • 5th = 3 point x 0.01 entry fee amount
    • Example: Winning a $100 tournament = 20 points (20 x 1) and winning a $500 tournament = 100 points (20 x 5)
  • Amount wagered:
    • DOES NOT INCLUDE STRAIGHT SHOW WAGER AMOUNTS
    • 1 point for every 50% of bankroll wagered excluding Straight Show wager amounts
    • Example: $60 bankroll and $240 non-Show wager amount = 8 points
    • THIS POINT TOTAL WILL BE CAPPED AT 50 POINTS IN ANY ONE INDIVIDUAL TOURNAMENT
  • Number of total entries in each individual tournament:
    • 1 point for every 10 entries
    • Example: 64 entries = 6.4 points
  • If you have 2 entries in an individual tournament, each entry will receive an individual score and each score can count towards your total if in your top 25 scores.
  • In the tournament designated as being worth double tour points, all tour points rules above are applied and then the final total score is doubled. For example a 50 point score becomes 100 points.

Prizes

  • $50,000 in cash prizes plus one 2027 BCBC seat and two 2027 SFBC seats for top 5 from final standings:
    • 1st = $20,000 + 2027 BCBC Seat
    • 2nd = $7,500 + 2027 SFBC Seat
    • 3rd = $3,500 + 2027 SFBC Seat
    • 4th = $2,500
    • 5th = $1,500
