Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets College Football Info
One of the most successful college football programs in history, the Yellow Jackets have won four national championships across four different decades (1917, 1928, 1952, 1990) as well as sixteen conference titles. Among the team's former coaches are John Heisman, for whom the Heisman Trophy is named, and Bobby Dodd, for whom the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award and the school's stadium are named. They are 23-18 SU in bowl game appearances, having last competed in the post season in the 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl where they defeated Kentucky 33-18.The program has produced several, notable players such as Clavin Johnson, Demaryius Thomas, Georgia native and legend Keith Grooking, Joe Guyon and Billy Shaw. The latter two are members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Georgia Tech is coming off a 5-6 SU and 7-3-1 ATS season and enter the 11th season of head coach Paul Johnson's tenure.
