Pennsylvania law prohibits persons under the age of 21 from wagering, collecting winning wagers, or loitering in and/or about the BetAmerica Sports Book area and all gaming areas.
Persons shall place a wager only on their own behalf and shall not wager for any other person.
All prices/lines/odds are subject to change.
Wagering options, other than in-game wagers, are available up until the official start time, unless otherwise specified by Management. Any wager accepted after the official start time, other than in-game wagers, is void.
Management reserves the right to refuse/cancel any bet before the game starts and to make ambiguous bets void, without providing any justification.
Management assumes responsibility for paying the mandatory 0.25% Federal Excise Wagering Tax required by law for wagering on sporting events.
Games must be played on date scheduled. Postponement that exceeds 24 hours constitutes no action and money will be refunded. When an event is cancelled, all related bets will be void automatically. If any event is abandoned due to injury, bad weather, crowd trouble, etc., all bets that have already been settled up until the time of abandonment will stand.
Management will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes.
Any dispute shall be resolved in accordance with applicable Pennsylvania law and Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (“PGCB”) regulations.
It is the patron’s responsibility to inform Management immediately should an error occur on an account, any wager, or in any other transaction.
Management reserves the right to refuse any wager or delete or limit any selection(s) prior to the acceptance of any sports wager.
Management reserves the right to determine minimum and maximum wager limits on all events, including on a wager-by-wager basis. The exact value of the wager is specified in the field where the bet amount is entered. Management makes no guarantee that any bet placed within or for the maximum bet shall be accepted.
Management reserves the right to modify the BetAmerica House Rules, subject to regulatory approval.
Management reserves the right to modify payout odds/limits. In the event of a change, the new odds/limits will be posted in the BetAmerica Sports Book, or made available prior to taking any wagers with the revised limits.
Where Management has reason to believe that a bet is placed after the outcome of an event is known or after the selected participant or team has gained a material advantage, the incident will be reported to PGCB for a determination of whether or not to void the impacted bet(s).
Management reserve the right to cancel any bets from patrons who place money on an event where they are in any way involved, as participant, referee, coach, etc.
Management reserves the right to withhold payment and to declare bets on an event void if there is evidence that the following has occurred: (i) the integrity of the event has been called into question or (ii) match rigging has taken place. Evidence may be based on the size, volumes or pattern of bets placed.
Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, altered, or unreadable tickets. If a ticket is intentionally altered, it will not be honored and automatically becomes a loser. Under no circumstances will the BetAmerica Sports Book honor any claims or accept any responsibility for inaccurate tickets or incomplete transactions that may be the result of miscommunication, misunderstanding, error or any other cause.
Management reserves the right to pay out wager(s) at the correct lines/odds, as determined by the marketplace comparison, at the time of the placement of the wager(s) in the event of typing, mechanical, gross human or palpable errors, which lead to obvious price errors. In such cases, the incident will be reported to PGCB and is subject to receipt of PGCB approval. In all other circumstances, the rules set forth herein apply.
Multiple bets that combine different selections within the same event are not accepted where the outcome of one affects or is affected by the other. If such a bet is taken in error, the bet will be cancelled.
By placing a wager, the patron acknowledges reading, understanding, and accepting these House Rules.
Personal communication devices, including, without limitation, cellular devices or mobile phones, may be used in the BetAmerica Sports Book for non-gaming related communications.
Management prohibits the use of personal communication devices on the property in which to transmit or relay gaming related information, including but not limited to, wagering information, line information, point spreads, wagers, and other gaming related information.
Management reserves the right to remove anyone from the property who, in Management’s sole discretion, judgment, or opinion, is using a personal communication device to transmit or relay gaming information.
This does not apply to the use the BetAmerica mobile device wagering application.
BetAmerica shall not be liable for failure of any equipment, wherever physically located, which prevents the placement of wagers or contact with our offices.
Sports over-the-counter wagers (including wagers made on self-service betting kiosks and other self-service devices) (collectively, “OTC wagers”) are void 1 year from the date of the event.
Please check your wagers for accuracy.
OTC wagers must be reviewed PRIOR to leaving the window or self-service betting kiosk. Leaving the window or self-service betting kiosk with the ticket is deemed an acceptance of the wager by both parties. It is the patron’s responsibility to inform Management immediately at one of the sportsbook windows at the Cage or by alerting a Slots Service Representative should an error occur on an account, any wager, or in any other transaction.
BetAmerica accepts no responsibility for wagers which may have been submitted and not confirmed by our systems.
Once both parties accept a wager, the details will not be altered, and the wager will not be voided prior to the start of an event, except at the discretion of Management, and with the approval of both parties.
Wagers may only be rescinded with the prior written approval of the PGCB.
Payoffs on all wagers are determined using standard Money Line calculations, unless otherwise specified. Final calculations are rounded to the nearest penny.
A straight wager resulting in a push will be considered “no action” and the original stake will be refunded.
Parlay Wagers:
Payoffs on parlay wagers are determined using standard Money Line calculations.
Pushes and refunds in a parlay cause the wager to reduce the payoff bracket representing the number of remaining teams. If the parlay reduces to just a single game, the single game becomes a straight wager.
Teasers:
Pushes and refunds in an off-the-board teaser wager cause the wager to reduce to the payoff bracket representing the number of remaining teams.
In the event only one team remains:
A teaser reduced to a single wager is considered “no action” and will be refunded.
If all teams push/refund, the wager is considered “no action” and will be refunded.
Winning tickets may be mailed to the BetAmerica Sports Book for redemption. See the betting ticket for instructions and mailing address. Registered mail is safer and preferred.
Winning tickets may be subject to IRS reporting and withholding guidelines.
In person payoffs exceeding $10,000 may be paid via check; all betting tickets redeemed by mail shall be paid via check.
Any rules written on handouts for specific events are considered BetAmerica House Rules. Any event rules posted to the BetAmerica website are considered House Rules.
Wagering rules and conditions are subject to change; please refer to odds sheets/displays for details. If there is a conflict between a stipulation on an odds sheet/display and these BetAmerica House Rules, the stipulation on the odds sheet/display will prevail.
