Kentucky Derby winner Mage returns for the second leg of the Triple Crown in the 2023 Preakness Stakes. Watch a field of new contenders and a few familiar faces from the Road to the Kentucky Derby series who did not run in the Kentucky Derby, but will run in the Preakness Stakes.
How to watch the 2023 Preakness Stakes:

NBC will air the 98th Black-Eyed Susan Friday, May 19 from 4:30 pm ET to 6 pm ET on Peacock. TwinSpires will have the live simulcast stream as well!
The 2023 Preakness airs Saturday, May 20 from 1:00 to 4:30 pm ET on CNBC. NBC will then pick up coverage of the second jewel at 4:30 pm ET and will run until 7:30 p.m. ET.

The horses entered into the Preakness Stakes viewable on Saturday are listed below in post position order.
- NATIONAL TREASURE (4-1): Talented son of Quality Road finished a decent fourth in the Santa Anita Derby (G1) in his latest showing.
- CHASE THE CHAOS (50-1): El Camino Real Derby victor was dusted in the San Felipe S. (G2) in his lone route on the dirt leading up to this task.
- MAGE (8-5): Superb Kentucky Derby (G1) winner will make his fifth lifetime start in the Preakness and is clearly the one to beat.
- COFFEEWITHCHRIS (20-1): Miracle Wood S. hero has been mostly consistent leading up to Saturday for John Salzman.
- RED ROUTE ONE (10-1): One-run closer from the Asmussen shedrow qualified for the race following his dramatic late score at Oaklawn Park last time out.
- PERFORM (15-1): Tesio star has shown marked improvement as a sophomore and has never been better for Shug McGaughey.
- BLAZING SEVENS (6-1): Champagne S. (G1) hero showed little in his sophomore debut but returned with a solid third-place result in the Blue Grass S. (G1) at Keeneland for conditioner Chad Brown.
- FIRST MISSION (5-2): Main threat to the top pick was classy and game in taking the Lexington S. (G3) at Keeneland in his stakes debut for Brad Cox.
