5 Woodbine Win Plays For Bet Back Promotion

There is a Bet Back Promotion for today’s races at Woodbine. If your win bet finishes second, then you get your win bet back. You have to play at least 5 races to qualify. Here are the five I’d take a shot at.

Race 2: #3 Releasethe Glacken has been win shy to date, but runs consistently and this is likely his level. Part of my strategy here is not taking big shots with horses who will be big prices. I’m looking for horses likely to be in the picture at the end.

Race 4: #4 Giada Vegas will have to run them all down, and the reason I think it could happen is the speed in here is not all that speedy. They will come back. If Husbands is in the right spot she’ll be running late. Even if she doesn’t win I like the chance to get my bet back. No issue with this being off the turf.

Race 5: #7 Lady With Class is the best of the three who have run. This is a big of a poke since the firsters could be world beaters, but I can trust this one to run well.

Race 7: #2 Grizzel is my best bet of the day. We know what she’s done at this level and on synthetic, so we’ll play her to run back to that since Holy Helena figures to help our price.

Race 9: #3 Quidura is the most likely winner here and given her tractability I like her even more in the shorter field. She figures to get her run. Even if it isn’t good enough to win, she’s a good play to get that bet back!
