American Pharoah's Memorial Day exercise

Triple Crown-seeking champion American Pharoah took to a sloppy track at Churchill Downs on Memorial Day morning, and once again displayed the easy, effortless action that's become his trademark.

His routine 1 1/4-mile gallop was posted on YouTube by Churchill's own Jill Byrne:

 

You can watch American Pharoah's morning training live, between 8:30-8:45 a.m. (EDT), on the Kentucky Derby website every day through June 2. Also scheduled to appear during that special training time are the three other Belmont S. contenders at Churchill -- Keen Ice, War Story and Conquest Curlinate.
