Australian Spot Plays for Randwick May 19

Frustratingly close last week when spot plays at Warwick Farm missed by a head and a nose, I'll attempt to right the ship Tuesday evening (U.S. time) when Randwick in Sydney presents a seven-race card over its Kensington course.

First post for "Australia B" is 10:50 p.m. ET

At this writing the course is rated "Soft 6."

Race 2

A winner on debut in March 2019, #1 NOT FEINT HEARTED (4-1) has fared well in his non-stakes appearances and looks poised to take a step forward off a comeback fourth at Canterbury two weeks ago. Beaten less than two lengths, it was the gelding's first outing since August. On paper there appears to be a lot of speed in this race, which will also benefit a stalker-closer type like himself.

Not Feint Hearted was cross-entered in Race 3, but is already listed as an early scratch from that heat.

Race 3

Although a win-shy type, hard to knock the recent form of #3 UP TRUMPZ (7-1). Second best over this track earlier in the month following a three-month spell, he figures to be somewhat sharper second up. Also likes a little give in the ground but not too much -- his soft-course record is a commendable 5-2-2-1.
