What races should I play tonight at Warwick Farm in Australia?

The midweek Australian racing action in Sydney returns to Warwick Farm on Tuesday evening (U.S. time) with a seven-race card that kicks off at 10:50 p.m. ET. The weather is forecast to be fine and the course is rated "Good 4" at this writing.

Race 2

#2 REGAL STAGE (7-2) will have some weight to carry against most of the field, but looks plenty fast enough with his best run. Don't think we saw that last out at Bathurst, but effort two back at Randwick was solid given he blew the start and had to rally from farther back than usual. Consistent performer has three wins and eight placings from 10 lifetime starts.

Race 3

The pace in this 5-furlong dash should be hot, and #3 Aussie will take some catching shortening up a furlong. But if #10 Mixed Blossom goes with her, that could set things up for a stalker/closer type.

#6 HIBISCUS LADY (15-2) was checked multiple times in her latest run on Jan. 27 over this course and seems capable of better with a more ideal trip. Although her metropolitan track form has been underwhelming in comparison to what she showed last winter, she's capable of firing fresh and recent barrier trials provide some encouragement.
