Belmont Stakes Live TV Coverage

Every June, the sporting world turns it's attention to Belmont Park on the 2nd Saturday evening of the month. In 2018, a captive audience of millions watched as Justify raced into the record books by capturing the 3rd leg of the esteemed Triple Crown of horse racing.

This year, the Belmont Stakes is the unprecedented position of being the 1st leg of the Triple Crown due to scheduling changes related to the COVID-19 pandemic. There will be no spectators allowed at the track, so television and online coverage will be the only ways to watch the race. The race has also been shortened to 1 & 1/8 miles from the traditional 1 & 1/2 mile distance.

Check out the 152nd edition of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 20th. Coverage will be broadcast on NBC, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app from 3pm to 6pm ET.

The expected post time for the race is 5:42pm.

Action starts on Wednesday with the post position draw taking place live on the New York Racing Association (NYRA) YouTube channel at Noon (ET).
