Will Rogers Downs, Race 8: Maiden special weight (6 furlongs, 2:45 p.m. ET)
The opening leg of the low-takeout, 50-cent Pick 5 at Will Rogers Downs is a maiden dash for Oklahoma-bred fillies and mares. The experienced runners don’t appear formidable, so we’ll take a shot with one of the first-time starters, #4 Jollyville (12-1 on the morning line).
First-ever Pick 5 at Will Rogers Downs attracts $188k pool, and first leg goes to longest shot on board Blended Lute at 21-to-1!

A 5-year-old daughter of Read the Footnotes, Jollyville has taken her time to reach the races, but she has shown signs of talent for trainer Scott Garrison. She has breezed steadily at Will Rogers, most notably clocked a half-mile in :47.34 March 7, and she’ll have hot jockey Ry Eikleberry in the saddle.
The only debut runner Garrison has saddled over the last five years raced to victory with Eikleberry aboard last week at Will Rogers.
We suggest including Jollyville in the Pick 5, and at 12-1, a win bet is also in order.
$20 to win on #4 Jollyville
Good luck!
