Colonial Downs, Race 7: Maiden special weight (1 mile on turf, 8:18 p.m. ET)
Trainer Michael Stidham is enjoying an extraordinary meet at Colonial Downs. He has compiled a 6-3-0 record from 11 starts and has repeatedly teamed up with leading jockey Trevor McCarthy, who has gone 14-7-4 from 33 starts to begin the meet.
Together, they’ve gone 5-3-0 from 10 starts over the last 14 days, so it seems safe to assume the Stidham/McCarthy representative #2 Dreaming of Gerry (4-1 on the morning line) has a live chance to factor in his debut Tuesday.
A week to remember for the barn @ColonialRosies with three victories including Guillame's win in the $40,000 Hansel Stakes! https://t.co/mF85pBQDAo

Stidham has been particularly successful training 2-year-olds and is 2-for-2 with juvenile first-time starters at Colonial Downs this year.
Dreaming of Gerry has put together a solid work tab at Fair Hill, highlighted by 5 furlongs in a bullet 1:00.20 July 26, so the son of Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) winner Liam’s Map should be fit and ready to handle a mile in his first run under colors.
Dreaming of Gerry’s morning-line odds seem unlikely to hold up, but even at 2-1, he would be an enticing play.
Let’s bet Dreaming of Gerry to win and play him in the exacta, with #10 Romp (9-2) and #12 No One to Blame (6-1).
$24 to win on #2 Dreaming of Gerry
$3 exacta: 2 with 10,12 ($6)
Total: $30
Good luck!
