Race 11
The Ohio Breeders Championship (OBC) series offers a few divisions for two-year-old filly pacers. This is division one for the day. Ron Burke offers two in the field of six. One of them, #1 Summer Touch, has won twice as much money as the next highest entry in the field. However, #3 Sentimental, could get a perfect trip behind Burke’s filly and have a few steps more at the finish line at a better price.
Race 15
The second $61k OBC filly-pace division has a filly that could surprise the top earners and pay well. This is #3 Leave Her Wild, who just qualified at rocket speed and has hit the board in six of seven starts.

Race 2
This $17k freshman filly pace, a part of the Buckeye Stallion Series, looks perfect for #1 Heavenissofaraway. Trainer Anette Lorentzon has this young filly by the promising pacing sire Racing Hill on target to make the rest of this season more profitable and her next season a six-digit-earned financial success. Anette’s equine students thrive on the half-mile tracks, specifically Yonkers, where she sends plenty to the winner’s circle.
Race 5
Christopher Beaver’s #2 Kikimora is good enough to meet the Hambletonian Oaks group but as an Ohio-bred soph filly trotter, takes on a small group in an OBC worth $46k. She may not even be the favorite, with that stature going to Burke’s #5 A Fancy Face.
Race 7
This Ohio Fair race ($17k for freshman trotters) exclaims the productivity of the sire Uncle Peter. Both of the fillies in this field sired by the low-profile Takter-trained horse from his powder keg stable, should command this field.
The Uncle Peter filly on the inside, #2 Itscheaprtokeepher, hit the board seven of 10 times this season, while on the outside, #8 Miss Georgie has won three of eight. The former has the edge, as post 8 is the "death seat" at this Ohio track, but neither should be surprising as a winner (the latter, of course, offering higher odds by the nature of her launch post).
Race 9
The second OBC for the glamour-girl trotters is a tougher group than the first, even though there is a standout that the crowd will hammer at the windows. #2 Guinevere Hall has not lost among her division on the Ohio circuit in seven starts. Melanie Wrenn’s filly has earned nearly $3 million going into the race.
The other five she faces, however, may take advantage of the speedy four turns at Delaware that have besieged many a trotter over the years. Pamela Young’s outsider, Tootie, is bound to provide trouble for the win-perfect favorite. Finding a good, ground-saving trip, this filly can pull on some burning-up speed and have the right step to get across the finish line at a good price.
