Black-Eyed Susan Stakes day ABC

I don’t mind landing on a favored “A” here or there. Of course it happens, but success in this setting requires getting the prices is right, which I didn’t, so it was a bad day.
The good news is there are 14 more opportunities on Black-Eyed Susan day and another 14 on Preakness Stakes day to either win more or fight back. I’m hoping to be in a position to take the former approach, but proper munitions have been secured to do the latter if necessary.
Here is an ABC look at today’s card with potential value plays noted underneath
The Black-Eyed Susan is the first leg of a multi-day double with the Preakness Stakes. For FREE Brisnet.com Past Performances of the Preakness, click here. I’ll take two approaches to this double: 1. Look at the will pays with American Pharoah and play what I perceive as the best prices, and 2. Get live to Danzig Moon to leverage some potential nice prices against my strategy on Preakness day itself.
In race 3, Sterling’s Maximus looks interesting at 6-to-1 morning line. In race 6 both Seventh Son and Daniel Did It are worth looks at 10- and 15-to-1 morning line, respectively. Race 8 looks similarly juicy with both Coco’s Wildcat and Huasca in the mix at 12- and 8-to-1 morning line, respectively, though those will come down with scratches. In race 9 you have to go against Ben’s Cat who’s always overbet. He can win, but you’ll get too good a price on either Golden Emperor (12-to-1 ML) or Bold Thunder (7-2) to not include in exotics.
Good luck today!
