Cyberknife: Kentucky Derby contender profile
Cyberknife has always been well-regarded by his connections, but he didn’t meet expectations early in his career, winning only once from his first four starts, including a sixth in the Lecomte (G3). The chestnut Kentucky-bred began to turn things around in mid-February, recording a sharp allowance win at Fair Grounds, and he will enter the Kentucky Derby on the upswing following a 2 3/4-length win in the Arkansas Derby (G1). He’s by an exciting new sire, and his trainer will be seeking a second straight Kentucky Derby win.
