(Each week, Cotolo employs money-management tactics to build wagers that focus on plump profits.)

For the program on Sept. 22 at Hoosier Park, we suggest some horses for selected plays that may fit in any type of wager.

Race 3

Taking on what appears to be the roughest group she has faced, #9 Super Queen is among relatively equal types. She did her best in August on the way up, while some of these are on the decline, and two back, she had the crowd’s support while on the rise. A good price is guaranteed, and with a good projected trip to match, she will prove the crowd wrong.

Back to where she made plenty of noise, #10 Meadowbrook Nola should return to the form that allowed the volume defeating others.

Race 5

A bet back, #3 Retha Babe broke and was eliminated in this territory. At 84-1, she surprised ones like these finishing third, and she can pull off a bigger shocker here.

Skipping instead of trotting from the start, #7 Danka disappointed bettors making her 3-1 in the second start of her career. If she races like her Red Mile qualifier in August, she outclasses the bunch of these.

Indiana-bred-fairs-trotter #4 Vel Dee Yankee is sitting on a win after nine times hitting the board. If she behaves and trots her best, she is definite danger.

Race 8

An early duel for the start rushed #7 Sun Chip to the top, and though she settled into second, she had tired by the wire. Her qualifier since was smooth enough to testify for her contention here.

Race 10

Bet-back #3 Real Diamonds K has touches of class that puts her into the mix with these to the point that she may go off higher than her 9-2 morning line (ML).

Obvious and deserving respect is ML favorite #5 Ima Diamond Babe. The Guccio sophomore raced better than her odds twice in a row, but won’t fool anyone again.

Race 12

Some shippers may impress bettors more than they should, or at least enough to keep them off of #8 Social Swan. A beaten favorite last week, the Swan For All filly returns with the extra sparkle to take the marbles this time.

Dropping with some past class, #2 Sassy Babe fits well here and could show the form that almost won one for her at this track on July 21.
